Sustainability

One of my core values and reasons for starting Tierrapy Soaps is my commitment to being environmentally friendly, living as sustainably as possible. I wanted to reduce the plastic in my shower, hence bar soaps and lotions. 

I make vigilent decisions while shopping for ingredients and supplies, sourcing from local suppliers as much as possible to reduce carbon emissions from packaging and transit. Not only does it help Mother Nature, but it helps reduce costs which I pass on to YOU! I've designed my product packaging to minimize waste, optimize materials, and reduce plastic use wherever possible and ship with reused, recycled boxes and bubble mailers whenever I ship. 

For my candles, I use glass and aluminum tins which are both recyclable, but better yet, please consider dropping them off for reuse so I can make more candles without putting more burden on the atmosphere. Glass is one of the most reusable materials -just bring your finished candle back to any market and you'll save $0.60 (tins) or $1 (glass) off your next purchase.
